At least 607 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 22 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 404 people got infected in Bishkek, 14 — in Osh city, 97 — in Chui region, 10 — in Osh region, 20 — in Talas region, 5 — in Naryn region, 13— in Issyk-Kul region, 24 — in Jalal-Abad region, 20 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 3.4, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 188,813 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
