At least 348 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 26 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 244 people got infected in Bishkek, 7 — in Osh city, 38 — in Chui region, 16 — in Osh region, 7 — in Talas region, 2 — in Naryn region, 5— in Issyk-Kul region, 22 — in Jalal-Abad region, 7 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 4.6, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 186,413 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
