At least 198 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 22 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 136 people got infected in Bishkek, 13 — in Osh city, 10 — in Chui region, 29 — in Osh region, 3 — in Talas region, 1 — in Naryn region, 2— in Issyk-Kul region, 4 — in Jalal-Abad region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 4, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 186,065 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
