The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov held a visiting meeting at the pumping station of the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant (HPP), where a break in the water supply system occurred on December 25. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
It was noted during the meeting that thanks to the prompt response of the HPP employees, the emergency situation at the facility was brought under control.
«The supply of heat to the residents of the capital did not stop. The operation of the pumping station was promptly restored,» the Minister of Energy Doskul Bekmyrzaev told.
The Chairman of the Cabinet stressed that in order to prevent such cases, it is necessary to increase the number of employees on duty, especially in the evening.
«This time, thanks to the efforts of the company’s employees, it was possible to quickly stabilize the situation. The equipment is outdated, it’s time to update it,» Akylbek Japarov said and instructed to prepare by April 2022 a list of equipment that needs to be replaced and updated.
