Bishkek City Hall plans to introduce time limits for work of cafes, restaurants

In case of a further increase in the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Bishkek, the issue of temporarily limiting the work of all entertainment institutions and public catering places will be considered. The Chief of Staff of the City Hall of the capital, Balbak Tulobaev, told at a briefing.

According to him, the City Hall recommended the owners of cafes, restaurants and catering outlets to suspend work at night and carry out disinfection.

«If they do not comply with sanitary standards and in the case of an increase in the number of infected people, we will suggest the Emergency Response Center to close all places of public catering from next week without introduction of curfew from 22.00 to 5.00. At this time, we will carry out disinfection in the city. The number of patients with coronavirus, duration of the emergency situation, as well as economic losses depend on the actions of each of us,» Balbak Tulobaev said.
