Rise in ARVI incidence: Four schools in Chui region closed for disease control

Four schools in Chui region were closed for the control of influenza and ARVI. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.

According to it, non-attendance of students in these educational organizations has exceeded 20 percent.

Nizhnyaya-Ala-Archa secondary school, Ala-Archa secondary school, Lebedinovka secondary school No. 1 and Lebedinovka secondary school No. 2 were closed.

The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance instructed chief doctors to urgently conduct raids and check the attendance of children in schools and kindergartens in Kyrgyzstan.

The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and influenza has increased 1.5 times over the past week.
