School No. 56 has been closed to prevent further spread of coronavirus in Bishkek. Deputy Mayor of the capital Victoria Mozgacheva told at a briefing.
According to her, two cases of the virus were detected in the educational institution during an incubation period. «Therefore, according to the algorithm, we had to close the school. A teacher and a student got infected there, but they had no contacts,» she said.
Victoria Mozgacheva noted that three classes in the capital’s schools also switched to online classes.
«I would like to emphasize that there are no prerequisites for complete switch to online learning after the New Year celebrations. Such rumors are constantly spread,» she added.
