Sooronbai Jeenbekov presents laptops to participants of Meerim TV project

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with children — participants of Meerim television project and congratulated them on the International Children’s Day yesterday. Press service of the Presidential Administration reported.

Buburakhima Absatar kyzy, Diana Amankozhoeva, Aktan Zhumabekov, Yymanbai Kushtarbekov and Erbol Mansurov met with the president. Children asked questions of interest about children’s dreams and wishes of the president, told him about their plans, about professions they are interested in.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov told about his work, as well as relatives and friends. He also told about the state policy for the protection and support of children, digitalization of the country.

The meeting participants received laptops from the head of state. In his turn, Aktan Zhumabekov told about practicing pottery and presented Sooronbai Jeenbekov a souvenir gift — a piggy bank in the shape of a snow leopard made by himself.

At the final press conference of the president in December 2019, the author of Meerim TV project voiced a proposal for the head of state to meet with participants of the project. The project helps children who have lost their parents by telling their stories and finding people willing to support them.
