Security measures have been stepped up in Kadamdzhai district of Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government in the region reported.
Residents of Kuldu and Valakysh villages tested positive for coronavirus.
“They both came from abroad. Their condition is stable. In order to prevent spread of the virus, security measures have been stepped up in the district,” the press service said.
A total of eight cases of the virus have been registered in Batken. Five patients have already been discharged from hospitals.
