President of Kyrgyzstan discusses anti-crisis measures with Speaker, PM

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with the Speaker of the Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

They reportedly exchanged views on the current epidemiological situation in the country. In addition, the activities of government agencies to minimize and overcome the negative economic effects and priority plans for the post-pandemic period were discussed.

Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev told about the activities of the Government on implementation of plan of anti-crisis measures, efforts to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the republic. He noted that there is tightened control over the epidemiological situation and new cases of infection with a tendency for recovery of patients.

«Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted that depending on further development of the epidemiological situation in individual regions and the country as a whole, various options for a phased resumption of economic activity should be considered. Along with this, he drew attention to the need for strict observance of all quarantine-sanitary requirements in the future, especially in territories with a large number of confirmed cases of the virus,» the statement says.
