Help the Children — SKD Charity Foundation donated medications to the National Center of Oncology and Hematology and diagnostic equipment — fluorescent immunoassay analyzers — to 12 hospitals in Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of its 12th birthday. Press service of the organization reports.
The modern equipment is donated based on applications from healthcare institutions.
Analyzers quickly and efficiently help conduct laboratory blood tests. Help the Children — SKD explained that they read and interpret information from the diagnostic panels, and then present it in print and electronic form. For example, they make an early diagnosis of acute kidney damage and acute myocardial infarction or diagnose and assess the risk of coronary heart disease.
In addition, the foundation donated medicines for 5,370,320 soms to the National Center of Oncology and Hematology. The humanitarian aid came from America and includes such expensive drugs as variconazole, irinotecan, cyclophosphamide, methotrexate and etoposide. The drugs have already begun to be sent to various departments of the center. The organization noted that they managed to get the valuable cargo thanks to the pediatric oncohematologist, Professor Damira Bayzakova, who was negotiating with the American foundation.
«We decided that the provision of laboratory in the regions with modern equipment and donation of vital medicines was the best birthday present for the foundation. Indeed, the goal of our activity is to help sick children, as well as the adults, if possible,» said Elena Koneva, President of Help the Children — SKD Charity Foundation, told.
