Kyrgyzstanis won seven medals at the International Modern Pentathlon Tournament, which ended in Almaty (Kazakhstan). Head coach of the national team of Kyrgyzstan Viktor Maltsev told 24.kg news agency.
Competitions were dedicated to the memory of the world champion Timur Dosymbetov. At least 145 athletes participated in the tournament, including 16 representatives from Kyrgyzstan.
In individual classification, Rodion Khripchenko showed the best result among Kyrgyzstanis, who won a gold medal among juniors and a bronze medal among the adults. Ilya Myagkikh, Leo Shinkarev and Zarina Kudaiberdieva won bronze medals in their categories.
Temirlan Aytimbetov, Rodion Khripchenko and Ilya Myagkikh took the second places in the team classification among the adults. Ruslan Klyukin, Atay Erkinbekov and Danil Rudometov took the third places among juniors.
