Kyrgyzstanis won medals at the Open Championship of Kazakhstan among young men in modern pentathlon. Head Coach of the national team of Kyrgyzstan Viktor Maltsev told 24.kg news agency.
Competitions were held in Taraz with participation of more than 100 athletes. Kyrgyz athletes won two medals of each value. Leo Shinkarev became a champion, Ruslan Klyukin and Alexey Stepannikov won silver medals, Zarina Kudaiberdieva won bronze. Atai Erkinbekov, who competed in two disciplines, managed to win a gold and a bronze medals.
