Facts of violation of customs legislation during import of vehicles into the country were revealed in Kyrgyzstan. The State Customs Service reported.
Back in 2017, a scheme for evasion of customs duties was revealed in Kyrgyzstan. More than 120 expensive vehicles are under arrest. Their number may be even larger. The State Customs Service, the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes and the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue checks.
The Customs for the second week in a row reports on the detention of illegally imported trucks. For example, employees of the State Customs Service detected violations of customs legislation during import of 16 Volvo, DAF and MAN trucks. In addition, two Hyundai Porter trucks and one Mercedes-Benz Vito car were found.
Damage from illegal import of 32 vehicles amounted to 19,154.9 million soms.
«During the active search measures it was found out that all the vehicles were registered on the basis of forged documents. All materials were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office, » the Customs Service summed up.
