At least $1 million was found on the account of the ex-Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Duishenbek Zilaliev in one of the banks. Own sources in law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
According to them, Duishenbek Zilaliev was placed in the pretrial detention center of the State Committee for National Security until February 10. He is suspected of illegal enrichment. Investigators find out to which companies Duishenbek Zilaliev was selling mining licenses when being the head of the State Agency for Geology and Subsoil Use.
Duishenbek Zilaliev was detained the day before. The former official already has a suspended sentence of three years for a bomb hoax.
