Ex-Deputy Prime Minister Duishenbek Zilaliev detained in Bishkek

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Duishenbek Zilaliev was detained in Kyrgyzstan. Law enforcement agencies confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.

Duishenbek Zilaliev intended to leave the country via Manas International Airport on December 9, but since he was sentenced to three years of suspended sentence by the court, he did not have the right to leave the country.

Recall, Duishenbek Zilaliev is accused of a bomb hoax. The former official intends to appeal the verdict of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek in a higher court.
