Kazakhstan lifts ban on import of meat products from Kyrgyzstan

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has lifted the previously introduced temporary restrictions on the import of meat products of Kyrgyz enterprises. The State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

It is noted that the Committee of Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan has lifted the previously introduced temporary restrictions on the import of meat products by the companies Riha, Kant Bread Plant, Barkad, Salih, Adal Azyk on October 17.

The State Inspectorate provided the Kazakh side with full information about the epizootic situation in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Recall, on October 8, Kyrgyzstan introduced a temporary restriction on the import of poultry from Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan considered such measures illegal and on October 12 introduced a temporary ban on the import of meat from Kyrgyzstan.
