Diplomatic and service passports of the Kyrgyz Republic are issued to civil servants, depending on the position held, and should be used only for official trips. Responsibility for the storage and use of the service passports is borne by the state body, on whose request the document was issued.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic annually conducts a procedure on re-registration of passports and check of their use. In August, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic was checked and its officials were brought to administrative responsibility following the results.
Recall, MP Aida Kasymalieva told that officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development illegally went abroad using their diplomatic passports. The ministry refuted this information.
