«Despite his young age, Ulanbek Egizbaev became the author of many acute journalistic investigations, raised the burning problems of our society, and actively supported us in the fight against corruption. He was a professional journalist, ready to take responsibility for the social, moral and political consequences of his materials. If not his absurd death, Ulanbek Egizbaev with his characteristic ability would expose many more corrupt officials and their unseemly deeds. Unfortunately, the public, Kyrgyz journalism lost the talented journalist who selflessly fought against negative phenomena in our society,» the message says.
The name of Ulanbek Egizbaev will remain in the history of Kyrgyz journalism, and his active civic position and high professionalism will serve as an example for the younger generation.
