The Chairman of the Board of Dastan TNC Yuri Vasilyev is charged with embezzlement. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
A criminal case was initiated earlier on the sale by Dastan TNC one hundred percent of shares of Solnechniy Bereg resort at a reduced cost. Yuri Vasilyev was detained within the investigation of this case.
It was found out that Dastan TNC owned one hundred percent of shares of Solnechniy Bereg resort with an area of 11.7 hectares on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. The resort owed Dastan TNC 24,504.9 million soms for the repairs.
«However, on February 15, 2013, Yuri Vasilyev signed a contract on the purchase and sale of a hundred percent of the shares with the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic E.A. at reduced cost — for 47,750 million soms and an agreement on the assignment of claims under which E.A. unjustifiably received the right to claim this debt,» the statement said.
According to the audit report of the Accounting Chamber dated July 10, 2018, as a result of the transactions, the estimated losses of Dastan TNC amounted to 128,379.5 million soms. In addition, the assets of the company in the form of debt of the resort in the amount of 24,504.9 milion soms were squandered.
Yuri Vasilyev was placed in the pretrial detention center of the State Committee for National Security. The investigation is under way.
