Kyrgyz helicopters for Somalia. What was signed by Sapar Isakov

Another document on sending the Kyrgyz helicopters to Uganda was posted on Facebook.

Earlier, there was published Almazbek Atambayev’s order, in which he proposed to approve the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan on sending the aviation equipment (two Mi-24V helicopters and two Mi-8MTV helicopters) to participate in the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

The document, signed by Sapar Isakov, who at the time of signing worked as deputy head of the Presidential Administration, states that «the initiative meets the national interests of the Kyrgyz Republic.»

Taking into account the current situation, he asked, in accordance with the procedure established by law, to remove existing issues and promptly organize work on the execution of the President’s order.

The instruction was given to the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense. The document was signed on August 10, 2015.

The deputy Kanybek Imanaliev told at the session of the Parliament that helicopters, allocated to Kyrgyzstan by Russia in the form of military aid, were to be sent to Somalia. The General Staff denied the information.
