The National Bank is concerned about cybersecurity in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov told the deputies today about the creation of a special department at a meeting of the parliamentary committee of the budget and finances.
The Department of Cyber Security of the National Bank works in close cooperation with the State Committee for National Security. The goal is to protect the banking system from cyber threats.
As the head of the National Bank noted, we need to protect the electronic system from digital attacks, since the hackers can use the data of customers of the country’s banks and carry out illegal operations with cash.
