The construction of China-Kyrgyzstan gas pipeline will begin in 2019. The head of the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Ulan Ryskulov told journalists.
The agreement on China-Kyrgyzstan gas pipeline was amended. «We extend the term of its validity. Previously, it was in effect for 35 years. Now it was extended to 41 years,» Ulan Ryskulov said.
He explained that China had to start construction in 2013, but the work did not start in time for objective reasons. Construction of the gas pipeline will begin only in 2019.
«It is very important for us. At least 800 jobs will be created during construction. Later, about 200 people will get a permanent job,» added Ulan Ryskulov.
