A citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who was carrying from Thailand undeclared silver jewelry, was detained in Manas airport. The State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The total weight of the silver items was 10,023 kilograms.
A criminal case was opened on the grounds of the crime under the Article 204 (smuggling) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Due customs payments in the amount of 217,148.03 soms were paid to the state budget.
