A measure of restraint to the General Director of Electric Stations JSC Uzak Kydyrbaev and the Executive Director of the group for the management of the modernization of Bishkek Heating and Power Plant Temirlan Brimkulov was chosen yesterday.
As the State Committee for National Security informed 24.kg news agency, the power industry officials will be kept in SCNS detention center until the end of the investigation. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek determined the measure of restraint.
A criminal case was instituted against some employees of the Bishkek HPP, Electric Stations JSC and National Energy Holding Company under the Article 221 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was singled out in a separate procedure from a criminal case, initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office on January 30 after the breakdown at the Bishkek HPP.
