Kyrgyzstani Abdurakhmanhadzhi Murtazaliev won bronze at the open championship of North America in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The International Jiu Jitsu Federation reported.
The tournament was held in New York (USA). Murtazaliev competed among men with purple belt in the weight category of 85 kilograms. In the first fight, he defeated Luis Cabrera (Dominican Republic), then lost to future champion Roberto Jimenez (USA), and in the duel for bronze medal he turned out to be stronger than another American Michael Crespo.
In the end of January Abdurakhmanhadzhi Murtazaliev became the champion of Asia, and soon — the champion of Europe.
