Wounded by border guards on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border shepherd returned to Kyrgyzstan. Public Relations and Media Department of the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.

The man was handed over to the Kyrgyz side the day before.

«Asan Usenbayev, wounded by Uzbek border guards during detention at the border, was met by relatives, employees of the office of government’s plenipotentiary representative in Osh region, territorial units of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the State National Security Committee, and doctors. He was immediately taken to Osh regional hospital. Health condition of Asan is satisfactory. Each of the parties conducts an investigation on the fact,» the Border Service reported.

Recall, the resident of Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region illegally crossed the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border when grazing his cattle. Uzbek border patrol unit saw the Kyrgyzstani, but he tried to escape. The Uzbek side states that the servicemen were forced to use their weapons.
