Exhibition of artists from Korea was opened in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aytiev.
More than 20 authors from North and South Korea and ethnic Koreans living in Central Asia presented their works. The exposition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of resettlement of the Koreans to the region and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
Opening ceremony was attended by the artists from South Korea and representatives of the Artists’ Union of South and North Korea.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kyrgyzstan John Beng Hu expressed the hope that such joint exhibitions of artists from two countries are steps towards their unification.
