President of Kyrgyzstan arrives in Tatarstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev arrived in Tatarstan as part of state visit to Russia.

At the airport he was met by the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Tatarstan Radik Vakhitov and the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Council of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova.

Today, Almazbek Atambayev plans to meet with Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov in a narrow and extended format, visit Kazan Kremlin with a tour to Kul-Sharif and the Annunciation Cathedral, and take part in a concert of Kyrgyz masters of arts.

Kazan is the last point in the program of the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Russia. He will return to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow, on June 24.
