One third of young people surveyed see themselves abroad in three years

One-third of the surveyed young people under the age of 24 see themselves abroad in three years. Data was presented by the project M-Report.

According to it, 52 percent of respondents answered that they see themselves in Kyrgyzstan in three years, 27 percent — abroad, 19 percent still did not know.

At the same time, the desire to stay in Kyrgyzstan is higher for respondents older than 24 years.

For a third of respondents, the reason for wanting to go abroad is the desire to travel, followed by education (27 percent) and work (19 percent).

For young people between the ages of 14 and 19, the main reason for leaving is study, while respondents aged 20 and older want to travel.

M-report is a project aimed at gathering opinions of young people of Kyrgyzstan on important public issues through SMS messages.
