The exercises of CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces «Interaction» will be held in 2018 in Kyrgyzstan. CSTO Secretary General Yury Khachaturov told the day before, BelTA reported.
According to him, the Council of Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization considered on June 13 in Minsk a plan of training of CSTO bodies and forces for 2018. The document provides for exercises with the peacekeeping forces «Indestructible Brotherhood» in Russia, with the collective rapid response forces «Rubezh» in Tajikistan, with the forces and means of the intelligence units «Poisk» in Kazakhstan, and the collective air forces of the CSTO in Russia.
It is also planned to hold reserve trainings, conferences and round tables on various topics. As for 2017, such exercises will be held in October in Armenia, Kazakhstan and Russia. «Unlike the past ones, these exercises are held using a universal concept and the general operational and strategic environment," the CSTO Secretary General noted.
In addition, a number of documents related to the further development of cooperation between the CSTO countries, improvement of military construction, training of military personnel and CSTO troops for the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to them have been adopted.
