Russia, Armenia, Belarus positively assess veterinary control of Kyrgyzstan

Russia, Armenia, Belarus positively assessed the veterinary control of Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan gave a negative assessment. This was announced today at a press conference.

According to the Deputy Director of the State Inspectorate for Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security Ashirbay Jusupov, inspections on removal of veterinary control were carried out with members of the EEU.

Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov added that there was an overestimated expectation from the removal of veterinary control.

«An enterprise must meet the requirements, only in this case it is possible to export products or sell it on the domestic market. It doesn’t mean that if we remove the veterinary control, we will be able to export unchecked goods. With Kazakhstan there was a subjective situation. One can always find a reference in an international treaty. EEC has said that our body was ready to control the production output," he said.
