Kyrgyzstan will simplify visa requirements for foreign specialists involved in a major investment project in Issyk-Kul region. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution.
This concerns a waste management project in Issyk-Kul region, implemented by the Chinese company Junxin Huanbao (Issyk-Kul).
According to the resolution, up to 500 Chinese citizens involved in the project will be exempt from paying consular fees for visa processing.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to ensure the implementation of this decision and organize the relevant procedures.
The Presidential Administration has been assigned to oversee the implementation of the resolution.
The document will come into force in 10 days.
