Karakol town residents ask to initiate the creation of environmental police, the secretariat of Respublika - Ata Jurt parliamentary faction reports.

«The leaders who come to Karakol are completely indifferent to local problems. They have constantly itchy feet, waiting for them to be appointed to another area. We will soon lose our lake. I myself worked in the past in the environmental police, if we don’t resume work now, then we will lose our lake. We need to create an environmental police," one of the residents addressed the deputies and asked to raise this issue in the Parliament.
Also, the townspeople raised the issues of road construction in the region, improvement of infrastructure and development of tourism.
