Sadyr Japarov opens new children's health center Aikol in Issyk-Kul

The President of Kyrgyzstan opened a new children’s health center Aikol, subordinated to the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). Press service of the head of state reported.

The institution was earlier called Sputnik.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the employees of the national security agencies impeccably fulfill their duty to the Motherland, conscientiously protecting the country from internal and external threats, remaining true to their oath. He added that security officers devote most of their time to national security and the preservation of the territorial integrity of the country, staying away from leisure with family and friends. For this reason, the country’s leadership should make every effort to create conditions for their effective work. Work continues today on the construction of new houses, administrative offices for both national security officers and other civil servants, and work is continuously being carried out to improve their social well-being.

Sadyr Japarov noted that earlier it was not possible to improve the conditions in Aikol health center due to a lack of funds in the budget. Thus, the facility, built in the 1960s, is very outdated, and four camp buildings were declared unusable last year.

In August 2022, an instruction was given to start construction of all the necessary infrastructure for a children’s camp for 240 places. All objects are equipped with furniture and equipment, and the territory of the center is landscaped.

The President emphasized that during the construction of new facilities, high standards were observed, modern building materials were used, and water supply and sewerage networks were repaired.

«The state will not leave without attention the brave guys who give their time, health and youth to the interests of the country. I believe that if we take care of their children, they will grow up as patriots who will continue to take care of the nation,» Sadyr Japarov said.
