The national team of Kyrgyzstan will compete at the World Hockey Championship in the third-strongest division in Group A. The Hockey Federation reported on social media.
The tournament will be held on April 21-27 in Istanbul.
The national team will compete with teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Africa, Luxembourg, Turkmenistan and Turkey.
The team that will take first place will get into the second division (Group B).
