As part of his working visit to Singapore, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held talks with Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, who also holds the post of Minister of Commerce. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed joint projects in the field of combating climate change, developing a green economy and expanding trade ties between the two countries.
In addition, Edil Baisalov met with Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and National Development of Singapore Sim Ann. The agenda included issues of trade, economic and cultural cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of joint efforts to strengthen international cooperation.
During the meetings, the upcoming visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov to Singapore, scheduled for spring 2025, was also discussed. Both sides expressed hope that the upcoming visit will give new impetus to Kyrgyzstan-Singapore cooperation and will strengthen mutual understanding on key issues on the bilateral agenda.
