The head of the ministry signed the corresponding order to protect the health of students, prevent all types of bullying and intimidation in educational institutions.
«In order to protect the health of students, their social and psychological well-being, prevent problems due to manipulation and mobile devices, combat all types of bullying and intimidation through digital technologies, in the Internet environment, unacceptable information, ensure a calm and safe educational process, the order of the Ministry of Education and Science «On the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying» No. 1646/1 was signed,» the statement says.
The Kyrgyz Academy of Education was instructed to prepare information materials and a presentation on the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying for teachers.
Heads of educational institutions should systematically conduct educational work to prevent bullying, cyberbullying, suppression and suicide. At meetings, parents of students should be told about the harm of bullying and cyberbullying, explained the need for careful monitoring of children’s use of mobile devices, and conduct explanatory work on the topic «Family is the main institution of upbringing.»
