Akylbek Japarov inspects construction of water park and stadium in Orok

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov inspected construction of a water park and a stadium in Orok village.

According to the press service of the Cabinet, he familiarized himself with the progress of construction of a number of facilities in Orok village near Bishkek.

In particular, the head of government inspected the project for the construction of an entertainment park with a water park. The total area of ​​the park will be 10 hectares. A complex of multi-story residential buildings of the State Mortgage Company is being built nearby. It is also planned to build a general education institution and a kindergarten.

Construction of a football stadium continues not far from the future park. «A modern stadium, a new beautiful amusement park and other infrastructure will decorate the appearance of the capital, forming a new image and spirit of the city,» Akylbek Japarov said.

In November 2021, President Sadyr Japarov signed the Decree «On the establishment of the State Directorate for the implementation of the project «Construction of the international business center Bishkek-City». It was planned to be built, among other things, at the expense of donations. At first, it was planned that the business center would appear on the site of the Bishkek Machine-Building Plant. But later it became known that the State Construction Agency proposes to build it and a new stadium for 22,000 seats in Orok village, Sokuluk district.

The Cabinet of Ministers did not specify whether the facilities visited by Akylbek Japarov belong to Bishkek-City.
