Bishkek to host National IT Tournament on November 20-21

A national IT tournament will be held in Bishkek on November 20-21. It will determine the best specialists in key areas such as design, animation, hackathons, mobilography, robotics, esports, cybersecurity and others. The head of the Federation of Drones and Robotics, Baizak Urmambetov, announced at a press conference.

The event will bring together teams from all universities in Kyrgyzstan.

The tournament will be a step towards opening the Federation of Drones and Robotics.

It is held to identify and select the most talented participants, who will be able to represent the country at international competitions. In February next year, the winners will meet with teams from international universities, including Kazan Federal University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) and KazSU. The final stage is participation in the Games of the Future, which are planned to be held in the summer of 2025.

The organizers emphasize that the tournament is aimed at supporting the IT community of the Kyrgyz Republic and is held exclusively on a non-commercial basis: participation is free for all participants and spectators.
