Kyrgyz-Turkish political consultations were held in Bishkek. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan was headed by the Director of the 3rd Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askhat Ryskulov, and the Turkish delegation was headed by the Director General for Central Asian countries Gokhan Turan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The meeting participants discussed a range of issues of bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, culture, military and humanitarian spheres. They also touched upon interaction in the international arena and coordination of joint actions at multilateral forums.
The parties discussed plans for upcoming events and high-level meetings, paying special attention to strengthening economic ties and increasing trade turnover. In particular, they discussed attracting Turkish investments to the Kyrgyz Republic.
