The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with representatives of American companies, including the technology corporation Apple, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and Franklin University. The Cabinet of Ministers reported.
During the discussion, issues of cooperation in the field of high technology, digitalization and educational initiatives were discussed. Akylbek Japarov emphasized the importance of introducing innovations into the country’s economy and expressed interest in expanding partnerships with American companies.
Apple representatives noted the potential in the digital economy of Kyrgyzstan and expressed their readiness to implement educational projects for software developers.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed the possibility of opening a campus of the American Franklin University in Kyrgyzstan, which plans to offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in medicine, information technology and cybersecurity.
American companies also expressed their readiness for deeper cooperation and noted the potential for investment and joint projects in the region.
