Kumtor Gold Company (KGC) has produced 7,960 kilograms of gold for the first nine months of 2024, which is 81 kilograms more than the established plan. The company’s report on the results of production activities says.
According to its data, KGC’s revenue for this period amounted to $579.8 million instead of the planned $463.4 million.
The company’s net profit amounted to $216.6 million.
Kumtor Gold Company notes that this indicates a high level of efficiency of the company and significantly exceeds the plan of $87.9 million.
At the same time, KGC fulfills its obligations to the state, having paid 10,037 billion soms in taxes and other payments.
In addition, development of Togolok gold deposit and geological exploration of Dzhangart area, located 200 kilometers from Kumtor mine, have begun.
«The project for the underground extraction of gold-bearing ore at Kumtor mine has been launched, and in the near future the company will begin extracting gold from the spent ore located in the mine’s tailing dumps,» Kumtor Gold Company added.
