Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Avazbek Atakhanov presented Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential to representatives of international Pakistani tour operators. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassador noted the main social and economic achievements of Kyrgyzstan over the past four years, including in the tourism industry, which is one of the priority areas in the development of the national economy.
He told that more than 7 million foreign tourists visited Kyrgyzstan over the first nine months of 2024, and invited Pakistani tourists to discover the unique beauty, nature and rich culture of the country.
The press service noted that 18 international travel companies from Pakistan expressed a desire to visit Kyrgyzstan to establish business contacts in the tourism sector.
