The Antimonopoly Regulation Service set the tariff for fuel marking at 37 tyiyns per liter. The press service of Uchkun OJSC, appointed as the state operator of the public-private partnership project for the introduction of the fuel marking system, reported.
The tariff for marking will remain unchanged and will not increase the burden on the oil business.
«It is important to emphasize that the introduction of the labeling program is aimed at ensuring the full legal circulation of fuel and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan. Marking does not provide for an increase in tax rates or the introduction of new ones. The program will create equal conditions for all market participants, eliminating unfair competition and ensuring a decent business environment, which will benefit those who do business honestly,» the company reported.
The press service also assured that the molecular marker used is certified according to international standards and is safe for both fuel and the environment.
«The marker’s quality certificates issued by an independent international company confirm its compliance with world standards. The marker penetrates the molecular structure of the fuel and is resistant to leaching, which enables reliable identification of the fuel using special devices. Thanks to advanced Singaporean technologies and the experience of a company with an international reputation, Uchkun OJSC uses the latest achievements in the field of marking, ensuring high quality and efficiency of services. Fuel marking technologies are successfully used in many countries, which confirms their effectiveness,» the statement says.
