President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with German businessmen in Astana as part of his visit to Kazakhstan. The presidential press service reported.
According to the head of state, this meeting will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. «A set of regulations aimed at creating a favorable investment climate and protecting property has been adopted,» the President noted.
Japarov also mentioned reduction of the tax burden on business and providing benefits for companies with investment value, which contributes to the growth of foreign direct investment. According to him, Germany will be among the top five countries in terms of investment in Kyrgyzstan.
German businessmen expressed interest in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, especially in energy, logistics, industry and education of youth.
«Kyrgyzstan is open to active dialogue with German business and is ready to improve the conditions for doing business,» the President said.
