A centralized department of emergency medical care has been opened in the National Hospital in Bishkek. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry noted that thanks to the support of As-Safa Center Public Association, all necessary construction and repair works have been carried out in the department, and all conditions for the reception of patients and the activities of medical staff have been created.
The new center unites key emergency services of the National Hospital under one roof, which allows to improve interaction between medical specialists and speed up the process of assistance in emergency situations.
The department includes a neurotraumatology emergency room; maxillofacial surgery; hand microsurgery; eye microsurgery No. 2 (eye trauma center); emergency urology; traumatology; ENT; emergency surgery; therapeutic emergency room; proctology; emergency neurology; vascular surgery centers. Special attention is paid to the modernly equipped surgery rooms and intensive care units, which allows providing medical care at the highest level.
«The increase in the number of patients in the hospital’s emergency departments over the past three years confirms the need for a new center. The centralization of emergency care eliminates the previous logistical challenges of disparate buildings, which significantly saves time and improves the quality of patient care. Now all emergency departments are concentrated in one place, which will optimize the process of providing medical services and improve their accessibility,» he said.
