Kara-Suu checkpoint has been opened on Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan border. It has not been operational since 2010, Azattyk Radio reported.
The checkpoint was opened in Osh region. Five people will work at the Kara-Suu checkpoint on each side, who will be able to serve up to 5,000 people per day.
Kara-Surf checkpoint has also been opened on the Uzbek side in Andijan region, which borders Osh region.
