In the first half of 2024, trade between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE decreased by 13 percent. The National Statistical Committee reported.
According to the agency, trade between the two countries for the specified period amounted to $78.5 million. This is 13 percent less than in the same period in 2023 ($90.2 million).
Exports of goods to the UAE amounted to $48 million (61 percent of total trade):
- Electronics — $36 million;
- Oil and oil products — $5.3 million;
- Aircraft — $1.5 million;
- Precious metals — $965,000.
Imports of goods to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $30 million (39 percent of total trade):
- Cars — $13 million;
- Аabrics and synthetic materials — $7.8 million;
- Perfume — $1.5 million;
- Rubber, rubber products — $1.2 million.
