The President of the Russian Federation signed a decree on supporting foreign citizens, who share traditional Russian values. The document was posted on the legal acts website.
Foreigners will be able to obtain a temporary residence permit without passing Russian language, history and legislation exams.
«Grant the right to apply for a temporary residence permit without taking into account the quota approved by the Government of the Russian Federation and submitting a document confirming proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of history and the basic principles of Russian legislation, to foreign citizens and stateless persons, who have expressed a desire to move to the Russian Federation to live from foreign countries, their citizenship or permanent residence based on their rejection of the policies implemented by these countries, which impose destructive neoliberal ideological attitudes that contradict traditional Russian spiritual and moral values,» the document says.
Vladimir Putin also instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to determine a list of countries imposing neoliberal values. This list will be approved by the government.
The head of state gave the Cabinet of Ministers a month to ensure the implementation of the decree.
